Tapered Roller Bearings

Tapered roller bearings are mainly suitable for bearing combined radial and axial loads. The larger the contact angle of the outer ring raceway, the greater the ability to bear the ratio of axial and radial loads. The linear contact between the rollers and the raceway gives tapered roller bearings a large load carrying capacity. This type of bearing is a separable bearing, and its inner components (inner ring, tapered rollers and cage) and outer ring can be installed separately. The characteristics of tapered roller bearings make them ideal for many applications.
The radial clearance and axial clearance of tapered roller bearings can be adjusted during installation and use, and can also be installed with an axial preload. The size of the axial clearance has a great influence on whether the bearing can work well. When the axial clearance is too small, the temperature rises; when the axial clearance is too large, the bearing is easily damaged. Therefore, special attention should be paid to adjusting the axial clearance of the bearing during installation and operation.
DOBTOP can produce metric series and inch series tapered roller bearings, and can also design and manufacture various non-standard series tapered roller bearings for users. Widely used in automotive differentials, hubs, gearboxes and other parts.
